    Dr. William Plaugher is a Sonoma County native and owner of Santa Rosa Dental Suite. He graduated with honors from Chapman University, majoring in Molecular Biology and minoring in Spanish, and completed his DDS at UCSF School of Dentistry, also with honors. Before dental school, Dr. Plaugher spent two years serving with a nonprofit organization in Panama and Nicaragua, implementing dental clinics in rural areas. Dedicated to comprehensive patient-centered care, he completes ongoing advanced training in cosmetic, restorative, implant, and surgical dentistry. Dr. Plaugher is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Redwood Empire Dental Society, and local study clubs. He is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about using the latest technology to provide individualized care. Dr. Plaugher is married to Dr. Ava Vakili, an orthodontist, and enjoys cycling, woodworking, photography, traveling, and cooking.
